Expect the unexpected in ACG’s Play Series, where Austin artists will unleash their creativity in a chill atmosphere, with tasty drinks. Play Series events often include back to back performances over two evenings, with shows in south Austin in SoundSpace at Captain Quackenbush’s Coffeehouse and north in The Rosette, ACG’s brand new home in Hyde Park. Doors open at 7, shows begin at 7:30, open seating.

Our spring Play Series concludes with a concert featuring the members of the Austin Guitar Quartet. We’ll be swept away with gorgeous music arranged in solos, duos, & quartets by Chad Ibison, Janet Grohovac, Stephen Krishnan, and Dragos Ilie. Join us for a night with four of our city’s most brilliant guitarists.

A GURU NAMED FRANK was John Henry’s story of struggle, perseverance, and transformation, told through his inimitable songwriting and storytelling. All proceeds went towards North Austin Foundation & The 24 Hour Club.

The release of John Henry’s fourth CD in ACG’s new home; COME DECEMBER was a stirring collection of beautiful and evocative new songs. All proceeds went towards ACG Education.
