I'll let you be in my dream if I can be in yours by Christina Moser Brill

ACG’s Artist-in-Residence, Marek Pasieczny, is one of the most outstanding composer/guitarists of his generation. He has been composing since the age of 15, with over 150 works, arrangements and transcriptions for solo instruments, chamber ensembles, orchestra and choir under his belt!

Invitations as a performer, teacher, lecturer and composer to festivals have included Poland, France, Germany, Italy, Czech Rep., Greece, UK, Holland, Switzerland, South Africa, China, Japan, and the U.S.

This season Marek is ACG’s Artist-in-Residence! He has been collaborating with our community on what Home means to them and is working with more than eighty guitarists of all ages, across Texas, to make a monumental tribute to our planet that we’ll premiere on February 18.

Cellist Bion Tsang has been internationally recognized as one of the outstanding instrumentalists of his generation. Bion earned a Grammy nomination for his performance on the PBS special A Company of Voices: Conspirare in Concert (Harmonia Mundi).

As a chamber musician, Tsang has collaborated with such artists as violinists Pamela Frank, Jaime Laredo, Cho-Liang Lin, Anne Akiko Meyers, Kyoko Takezawa and Chee Yun, violist Michael Tree, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, bassist Gary Karr and pianist Leon Fleisher, and many more.

Tsang made his professional debut at age eleven in two concerts with Zubin Mehta and the New York Philharmonic and now resides in Austin, TX, where he is Division Head of Strings and holds the Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long Chair in Cello at the Sarah and Ernest Butler School of Music at The University of Texas at Austin.
