i / we explores humanity, commonality, struggle, and perseverance through stories of refugees settling right now in central Texas. Personal accounts from over 20 hours of interviews weave together with original music and visual imagery to create an inspiring and illuminating experience for the Austin community.

Composed by Joseph V. Williams II, i / we will be performed by Craig Hella Johnson (voice), Håkan Rosengren (clarinet), Louis-Marie Fardet (cello), Alejandro Montiel (guitar), Isaac Bustos (guitar), and Jennifer Choi (violin).

i / we is supported by Travis Marcum’s interviews & fieldwork, Toby Rodriguez (video projections), and artwork by Yulia Lanina.
