Guitar superhero Jorge Caballero pairs up with some of New York City’s finest strings to present an evening of South American music like you’ve never heard before at the gorgeous new Mexican American Cultural Center on Lady Bird Lake. The evening will include the premiere performance of a new ACGS-commissioned quintet by Argentine Maestro Jorge Morel whose groovy and memorable works are favorites among the guitar literature. Meet Maestro Morel at the Four Seasons before the concert (see details below)! The Austin Classical Guitar Society is thrilled to present three unique and exciting events this summer. The series begins in a picturesque setting with delicious food and beautiful music in support of the ACGS educational outreach program. In June, Jorge Caballero and the Axis String Quartet will present two evenings of South American music at the Mexican American Cultural Center.
