Eight Seasons: Music of Vivaldi & Piazzolla
Wednesdays, September 24th to October 8th, 2014, 7-9pm
Dinner and concert tickets sold separately online here.
Join ACG as we learn more about Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and Piazzolla’s Four Seasons of Buenos Aires. In a lovely home in Northwest Hills, this Insights course meets Wednesdays from September 24th to October 8th and focuses on the music of our International Series opening night. With wine and nibbles included, these casual and informative gatherings are led by Dr. Tom Echols, whose knowledge of art, music, and literature is more vast and integrated than anyone we know, and whose enthusiasm for refined human expression is infectious.
Insights: Eight Seasons is hosted by Margaret Murray Miller & Carl Caricari.

It’s quite possible: there’s no more fun duo to watch than guitar and bandoneon tango masters Giampaolo Bandini and Cesare Chiachiaretta! They have dazzled Austin audiences twice before, and the moment ACG heard they were planning a concert of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons alongside Piazzolla’s Four Seasons, we began making plans to bring the show from Italy to Austin! Italian string virtuosos Francesco Cerrato (violin) and Stefano Cerrato (cello) complete the ensemble.
